Samsung's 110-inch ultra HD TV

Samsung has reportedly rolled out a 110-inch ultra HD TV for a price tag of 1, 50,000 dollars in South Korea.
The U-HD TV, also known as 4K, is touted to have four times the resolution of standard high-definition TV, and it marks the way for the electronics giant towards ultra HD TVs as manufacturing bigger TVs using OLED proves too expensive.
According to CBS News, despite Samsung and rival LG Electronics predicting OLED screens as the future of TV, both the electronics manufacturers failed to mass produce OLED TVs as a mainstream that would replace the standard LCD.
The report said that the demand for U-HD TVs is expected to rise despite dearth of content while its price will likely come down faster than that of the OLED TVs.
