LG G2

Price: Rs 41,500

Design
The G2 is different from other phones as LG has played around with something as basic as placement of the keys. This one has the power and volume keys on the rear instead of the sides as this is where the index finger usually rests. The keys are now placed below the camera. But this takes some getting used to. The ports are all at the bottom.

Performance
The LG G2 is a performer. Browsing is quick and it smoothly runs many heavy graphic games without any lag. Running Android 4.2.2, it is powered by 2.2GHz quad-core processor with 2GB RAM. There is no memory card slot on the phone and you can use 25 of the 32 GB internal storage. The 5.2-inch full HD display is great for multimedia.

Camera
The 13MP rear camera does not have a shortcut key. When the phone is locked, you can access it by long pressing the down volume key. The same key can be used to capture an image too. LG has added many modes to the camera and the images are sharp and show true colours. We thought the camera was better than that of the Samsung Galaxy S4.

Battery
The 3000 mAh battery lasted us a day with regular use. But unlike other smartphones that charge from laptops, the G2 prompted us about slow charging.

Bag it or junk it:
A lot of new features that work
